KudviorpokMissing Witherling.Kudviorpok needs a high concentration of moisture and often builds its home behind waterfalls. It spends its days foraging for buried items, which it unearths by rooting its legs into the ground and working them free of the dirt. It is especially fond of pieces of ceramic, plates or bowls. It uses its ceramic plate fragments to build little pathways and patterns around the forest, and has a pretty decent grasp of color and pattern. Kudviorpok are very sweet and friendly, eager for attention.

ImmerukpokGeyser Witherling.Immerukpok live at the seaside and is often seen at low tide resting near in the rivulets that form in wet sand. It will lay on wet beach or sandbars and absorb water up through its body, where it is purified and released as vapor from its head. When saturated with water, the body is damp and spongelike. During the high tide, when water is too deep to lay in, the body dries and is stiff and lighter in color.

PerkoyiyokHospitable Witherling.Perkoyiyok lives in shallow tunnels that he digs himself, meticulously, over hundreds of years. He is very shy, and doesn’t like to be approached or come out of his tunnels when people are around; he can squirm his legs into the ground and ‘root’ himself that way so that he can’t be moved or disturbed. Sometimes he carries small, lightweight things (leaves, sticks, tiny pebbles) around in his little front appendages to place in his home; his tunnels are cozy, nicely decorated places. He doesn’t mind when people come and stay there, but keeps to himself.

Anernerk Smiling Witherling.Anernerk are icy to the touch, even though they have a furry plant surface, it’s extremely cold and causes frost to accumulate in the inches closest to its body. They are seen near dead or dying plants or animals, which they wrap in vines and foliage. At the end of its own life, it finds one of the trees its covered with flowers and plants, hangs its “mask” up, and curls its faceless body up at the base; the frost travels upwards like a wave, before it fades away, lightening (but not killing) the leaves and flowers underneath it.

TalluakShield Witherling.Talluak live in dark forests where the canopies block out almost all sun. The ground is bare, since there is not enough light for ground cover to grow, and so you can track this Witherling’s movements by following the lines drawn in the ground by the dragging of their large head. Very isolated.

NaakHollow Witherling.Rock-like and silent, excluding any sound made by wind passing through their hollows. Naak are seen on dunes and beaches, but must avoid getting wet since it dissolves their body. If it rains, they hide beneath Nikopjarpok until it is safe. A social Witherling, favoring small groups.

Satuiyok Promising Witherling.Satuyok are delicate, elegant Witherlings. This is the first Witherling so far from the Viridiform Strain. Unlike Common Strain Witherlings, these Viridiforms lack mask-style faces and are more soft and flower-like. Satuyok always seek sunlight in forest clearings; when they are in shadow or night, they furl themselves up into tiny pods to hold in the energy they’ve absorbed throughout the day.
